We continue the series of CO Hye Summit and our next presenter is Dr. Yeva Aleksanyan.

Dr. Yeva Aleksanyan will deliver a presentation titled “Elevating Armenia and Armenian Diaspora: Crafting a Strategic Nation Brand through Our History, Beliefs, and Traditions”.
This event offers a distinctive opportunity for community members to acquire knowledge and participate in meaningful discussions regarding Armenia’s history and culture. The presentation will explore how these elements can collectively shape the perception and branding of Armenians as a nation, thereby benefiting both Armenia and the diaspora.

Learn more about Dr. Yeva Aleksanyan

Dr. Yeva Aleksanyan is an economist driven by an unyielding passion for sharing knowledge and insights. Her academic path was shaped by institutions like the Armenian State University of Economics (Specialist in Management), Williams College (MA in Policy Economics), and Colorado State University (Ph.D. in Economics).
Her career includes various experiences in both private and public sectors. Notably, Dr. Aleksanyan worked in the Department of Strategy and Policy at the Ministry of Economy of RA, contributing to the development of Armenia’s medium- and long-term policies and strategies. She also played a key role in overseeing some bilateral and international economic cooperation. During her time at the Ministry, Yeva was part of a select group that played a key role in securing a grant of over 50 million dollars from the U.S. government (USAID).
Dr. Aleksanyan has been engaged in extensive research initiatives both in Armenia and the United States and has provided consulting services to various governments. Her passion for education manifested in teaching roles at Colorado State University and the University of Denver. More recently, Dr. Aleksanyan initiated the “World and Me Project”. This endeavor aims to create fact-based, informative, and engaging content, including articles and videos, designed for both English-speaking and Armenian-speaking audiences. It reflects Yeva’s heartfelt commitment to bridging the gap between accessible knowledge and a clear understanding of the facts.
Dr. Yeva Aleksanyan is an author of both academic and non-academic works. When conducting research and publishing on Armenia-Diaspora financial and non-financial ties, she recognized the critical importance of Nation branding. Since then, Dr. Aleksanyan has dedicated substantial effort and time to contemplating, researching, and understanding how Armenians can leverage different aspects of history and culture to their advantage.
